Meaning we should revisit which route we view as best. This needs prices and availability of S/M. We can buy 1 direct, or we can make it from 2 and 3. Can we update the costs of each of 1-3 please?

Assuming average literature yields (some of our actual yields were lower due to teething problems) We were able to make 1 from 3 at a cost of £12/gram including solvents, silica, and shipping but not including operator time (4 workups and 1 column). @alintheopen just for the record can you say how much we paid for the latest batch of this compound? This just gives a sense of how limiting the commercial availability is. i.e. it's not bad, but not dirt cheap.

Compound 3 cost $575 for 25 g from Matrix Scientific. Postage was very expensive though as it was FedEx-ed over at a cost of $280 but still represented the cheapest option. It would certainly be worth investigating the CRO option or for @tscmacdonald or other team members to scale up the synthesis of this important building block if the project requires further stocks.
