Not suggesting any change in focus from hitlist in #546 but I was in Nanjing last week listening to a chemist called Chengjian Zhu speaking about this nice piece of methodology:

and it occurred to me we could use something like this to generate some Series 4-like structures at some point. Similar to our route, though C-H in place of N and obviously one of the N's possesses a substituent. Would need proper planning, but I'm noting this here for interest, and will eventually transfer over to wiki as potential future project. I'll also see if the Nanjing group itself is interested.
