Is your feature request related to a problem?

I rolled out a new event. I want to see whether the new event is coming in, but it keeps getting lost in the noise in the events view

Describe the solution you'd like

Allow filtering by event name in events view

Describe alternatives you've considered

ctrl + f, reload, see more

Additional context

Part of #2560

Ah. Never found that.

It doesn't really behave like other filters which are at the top of the page. Besides being in a different place, it also doesn't persist over reloads.

Might be another reason to make our filtering story more consistent across pages (cc @paolodamico)

Agree with @macobo that this is not very intuitive & consistent with the app. I would suggest changing the scope of this issue to updating the UX for this.

I would consider doing as we have planned for persons, cohorts, sessions, ... (see below), which seems also highly evident for users trying to search for events. Ideally I would see something like Google's auto-complete happening here to make it quicker to use than a dropdown (this is basically opening the dropdown in place instead of the scrolling thing that happens on most dropdowns to get more items in place).

Anyways, hope that's helpful, let me know your thoughts.
