Brainstorming some ideas:

Networking with key public stakeholders including other companies with AI for Good programs or those who want to commit data or time
PR with those in the public who want to get involved
Directing or creating a funnel to move people to the right places in the project
Utilizing feedback loops to get the message to the right people
