This might be good for enabling a synthetic spectrometer or bolometer.

Aurora's connection to open ADAS isn't working properly in some cases. fsciortino/Aurora#90 .

Workaround: copy adf11 from iris:/fusion/projects/omfit-results/aurora_dir/ and set $AURORA_ADAS_DIR
