From users:

Recordings are in seven hour chunks. Previously, they were further divided into 6 minutes and then you could choose which part of the recording you wanted to play. On the ecosounds platform, you can only press the fast forward button to load minute by minute chunks. So it would be impossible if you wanted to play a random minute at the end of a seven hour chunk.
