ReVanced manager aborts YouTube patches #1106
Comments
Use the latest version of the ReVanced Manager (v1.7.0) |
The situation is the same even with the latest version. It all started a few versions ago, and since then I have had a constant failure in applying patches. And how I did not delete and re-install manager, the problem was not solved. I'm already starting to think that the problem is in my phone |
I've been having the exact same issue. YouTube ReVanced is just freezing playback about 30 seconds into every video. I tried updating the version to the Manager's recommended version, and I'm seeing those NoSuchMethodErrors with the same stack trace as OP. Manager version: v1.8.0 |
I have the exact same problem. The video freezes after a few minutes/seconds. I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, updating Revanced Manager to the latest 1.8 version with all Patches updated. Installed Youtube apk file from Apk mirror 18.31.38 version. But I still received an "aborted" error when I tried to apply the patches in order to get the Youtube Revanced apk file. How to solve please? 🥹 |
@sriwijaya572 I Haven't tried to patch YT Music now because it works without any issues so I don't want to risk it. for Youtube, I tried your exact version (18.23.36). still aborting!! I don't know what the problem is. |
Is your apk from the website "🔺to🔻"? |
Just to update: Once I deleted all the old APKs I downloaded as well as uninstalling and redownloading VancedManager I was then able to install Manager and then patch YouTube. |
Same aborting problem to me right now but in YT Music. Both on my Samsung A14 and older Samsung A7. But i managed to patch my youtube for me. YT Music, to no avail |
How did you manage to patch YouTube? I've tried countless times since 2 days but I'm unable to do so. I uninstalled both YT and RevancedManager, deleted any APKs I had and downloaded everything again and then tried to patch it again but to no avail. |
I started having issues with the buffering today. Tried patching a v18.23.35 APK, it kept aborting half-way through. Tried updating the Manager, didn't work. Tried patching the recommended APK, didn't work. What finally worked for me was this:
Worked immediately, no buffering issues, YT works perfectly fine now. |
I had same error but I resolved. Initial state: First try: Second try: |
How do you Patch an installed application without root. It always asks me to select a file from my storage for patching. |
I followed the same steps, and this time the patching process didn't abort (even though it failed to apply a single patch), and then after I installed the app, it keeps crashing as soon as I click anything or even scroll. Already tried to repatch it 3 times now but the same issue persists. |
I used my older phone Samsung A7, it magically got patched there |
Okay I managed to fix it too. |
My phone isn't rooted either. When you open the Manager, go to Patcher and then Select an application. Apart from the Storage option on the bottom right, the already-installed YouTube appears for me in the large list in the middle of the screen. Tapping on that allowed me to patch the installed app. |
Same issue here. Log :, --------- beginning of main |
You can try the solutions that I or others have posted here and see if they work for you. |
Please try with the latest release of ReVanced Manager |
Type
Error while running the manager
Bug description
First of all, let me clarify that I already have patched in a past YT with ReVanced Manager and it went smooth as better. However, recently I had a problem with youtube disbaling me to watch videos after around 1 minute mark so I search for help and It seemed like YouTube was stopping people from using ReVanced, by blocking some of the users. I tried relogging to YT, deleting cache and data, restarting my device, but it didn't help at all.
So I decided to repatch more up-to-date version of YT.
I was using ReVanced verison 0.57 at first, when I tried to patch youtube. But I got abortion error when I was selecting patches I wished to apply. So I decided to update Manager to latest version and it didn't help. And finally, I tried to rollback to version 0.52, because some users deemed that It fixed abortion errors. And It still didn't help.
