Could not load file or assembly error after upgrade

After an upgrade from [email protected] to [email protected] the cli started failing with the following exception

Newtonsoft.Json.JsonSerializationException: Error setting value to 'SelectedSwaggerGeneratorRaw' on 'NSwag.Commands.NSwagDocument'. ---> System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.AspNetCore.Hosting.Abstractions, Version=1.1.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=adb9793829ddae60' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) ---> System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.AspNetCore.Hosting.Abstractions, Version=1.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=adb9793829ddae60' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

The asp.net project is for .net 4.7.2 and output does not change between cli runs.
