Compatible with Yacht Devices Autopilot YDAP-04? #34
Comments
Make sure you select the "Raymarine NMEA 2000" type and you'll need to find the device id to enter. |
Ok, thanks for the super-fast reply! I'll give it another try when I'm back on the boat in 2 weeks and report here later. |
Ping me on Discord when you try again. I'm interested in making sure this works... |
Setting the autopilot to "Raymarine support" seems to be the solution. I didn't find the time for the needed calibration of the autopilot last weekend. So I couldn't try it out. But at least the plugin and the AP are talking to eacht other now. |
I am still struggeling a bit. AP is running and talking to the NMEA 2000 network and SignalK. I did the different calibration procedures. All what is missing is navigation data. I don't get it send to the AP from AVnav or OpenCPN. |
I wonder if this plugin will work with the new NMEA 2000 autopilot from Yacht Devices YDAP-04?
I recently installed this autopilot on my boat but I am struggeling to get it to work in SignalK.
Alex
