Printer

Artillery x1/x2

How to reproduce

Having SCARF SEAM and Z hop enabled on slope or spiral.

On slope and spiral z hop: Extruder retract, travel to next position, makes z hop in place, go down, print...

See here: https://gifyu.com/image/SyxrU

Actual results

Currently, except in normal Z-hop, the pieces end up with blobs on the perimeter because the travel moves are done without Z-hop

Expected results

The reason for that is this commit
cf6d9c7
I'll try to fix it in my OrcaSlicer fork and post a PR here.

... though the reason for the blob seems to be something else since it still does it after me having restored the previous z-hop behavior and verified in the slicer preview before printing.
I'll have to look into it further.
The blob is btw also created when z-hop does not take part in the process. See here #7326

Avoid collisions with previous extrusions in the same layer when moving Z down in an XYZ move.
This happens for example when starting a scarf joint after another perimeter was already printed.

I noticed this issue with scarf seams a while back, but I didn't realise it was also because of z-hop until today.. I've been losing my mind over issues with "flakes" on walls and parts getting knocked over for months, and the only advice I could get online was "dry your filament" which I already knew wasn't the issue. Glad I've finally found the cause, though naturally, right after I've started turning off scarf seams and redrawing all my seams

Other than that, scarf seams seem to perform the same as before for me. I haven't noticed the aforementioned blob
