Minor things. After it did it's download it just sat there. I'm hunting around and see it says Pinecil Connected. I wish the Install Update button was highlighted or something. I did find it. Maybe give it a highlighted Ready to Update! And a highlighted Update Now! button next to the ready message. I'm old, so maybe just picky. But I've been a PC tech since the DOS days. The coding of this is great, but the UI needs a little work. I had dug out one of my original new in the box V1 firmware Pinecils. It boot looped on 140W EPR, and I became sad when thinking about the old update procedure. Your Pineflash was a welcome treat! Thank you!

Glad it was helpful!
A coloured border around the button is probably not a bad idea, it is a pretty subtle difference at the moment between when its ready to update and when its not yet.
