Because of lack of support for docker-compose ver2, docker-compose.prod.yml was ported back to version 1 in https://github.com/SpisTresci/SpisTresci/pull/11.
docker-compose.prod.yml
Right now there is open ticket in nginx-proxy/nginx-proxy#304 for that. When this ticket will be resolved, migration to compose2 should be performed.
FYI:
docker-compose.yml (for development) is left in version 2. There is no reason to downgrade it also to version 1.
