Describe feature

It's a bit confusing how to return to the notes tree view when one has navigated to other parts of the app (eg, options). Is it possible to make a "home" button to return to the notes tree view? As far as i can tell, the suggestion here doesn't work in TriliumNext.

I do agree there should be a built in home button for the launchbar, but this should still work on TriliumNext - at least it works for me. Just make sure you have a JS Frontend note type selected.

The HOMEPAGE described in 3535 by trailjeep is not a really home page but a note identifier, you could rename it root, and that should work as a home button

right-click launchbar -> Configure Launchbar
right-click Visible Launchers -> Add a note launcher
2a. change note title to "Home"
2b. change note icon to home symbol
2a. target = HOMEPAGE
2b. keyboardShortcut = alt+h
drag & drop to launchbar position
