License Choice

https://choosealicense.com/ helped us decide whether or not an MIT license was appropriate for this project. The choice of an MIT license was mainly due to the fact that we want this project to be a collaborative effort open to feedback and improvements from the community. We don't want to restrict users from adjusting our work to their needs and likings. If anyone were to modify our work, we would not be liable for those modification. Compared to a license such as GNU GPLv3, it doesn't restrict users from making and distributing closed source versions. A Creative Commons license is unnecessary because we are only creating basic code and visualizations.
