I had downloaded the Hamlyn datasets with disparity in the website you had created for this paper, but I found the depth map I downloaded is all black without anything can be read in them. When I visit the official website of hamlyn dataset, I doesn't have the access to download the dataset which has the disparity groundtruth. I want to know how can you get the ground-truth of hamlyn? Is it reliable? How can I load the significative depth data?

@ZK-Learning The depth maps are 16-bit, so you will not be able to view them in a standard viewer. Did you try reading the image to check the actual pixel values? Alternatively, you can upload this to a software such as ImageJ (https://imagej.net/software/fiji/).

Hope this helps.

@Anivader Thank you. Indeed I find the png.mode is special. I never knew that. And I found Pillow can read them.
