Most games recognize the steam deck oled as having a HDR display and enable it in game. However some games such as Injustice 2 which supports HDR does not recognize the deck oled as supporting HDR and does not allow for it to be enabled in the game settings
Steps for reproducing this issue:
Launch Injustice 2 on steam deck OLED
Go to game settings, display, and note how it says a HDR10 display is not connected under the HDR toggle

Hello @Hupro, issues with HDR options in games need to be evaluated on a per-game basis.
We're tracking issues with games run with Proton in the Proton issue tracker, also, we're using one issue report per unofficially supported game title, so I've transferred this issue report to ValveSoftware/Proton#1627 (comment).
If you see similar problems with other games, please add a note to the relevant compatibility report in the Proton issue tracker.
