kāma sarathaṃ hi bhūta nīcaiḥ sapatnān mama pādayātha. Hier sind
indrāgnī kāma beide als Vokative (índrāgnī kāma) zu bestimmen,
zum Akzent vgl. <ref target="#AVS">AVŚ</ref> 6.93.3b: víśve devā
maruto viśvavedasaḥ „Ihr Allgötter!, ihr Maruts mit aller
Errungenschaft!“. Die Emendation des Akzentes zu índrāgnī
vermeidet somit <persName ref="#WDWhitney">Whitney</persName>s
„Emending indrāgnī́ to índreṇa“. Das Adverb sarátham ist auch

Durchaus möglich ist aber auch die Auffassung, kāma saráthaṃ als
