1. Go to the VideoHLS Plugin settings.
2. Find the option called autoConvertToMp4.
3. Check the box to turn it on.

1. Go to the CustomizeAdvanced Plugin settings.
2. Find the option called autoConvertVideosToMP3.
3. Check the box to turn it on.

What Does Each Feature Do?

HLS to MP4 Conversion

Why Convert? HLS videos are great for streaming but hard to download or watch offline. Converting them to MP4 is required if you want to enable features like downloading or offline viewing.

How It Works

• The system checks for new HLS videos every minute and converts them to MP4.

Video to MP3 Conversion

What Types of Videos? This feature works for both HLS and MP4 videos.

Why Convert? If you are using our mobile app, it is recommended to enable this feature so your users can listen to podcasts with the screen locked.

Benefits:

• Listen to Audios with Screen Locked: Enjoy your favorite audio without having to keep your screen on.
• Car-Friendly: Connect your device to your car player and listen to the audio while driving, making your journey more enjoyable.

What Happens During Conversion?

1. Trigger: The conversion starts as soon as the video is uploaded.
2. Retry Logic:
   • If the conversion fails, the system retries based on the following schedules:
     • HLS to MP4: Retries every minute.
     • Video to MP3: Retries every hour.
