An update to 1.16 planned? #189
Comments
Hello, A port to 1.16.4 would require a complete rewrite due to the removal of Ore Dictionary. It was replaced by Item tags. This would take a long time but might eventually happen. I cant promise anything :( |
Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Ender IO , Blood Magic, Applied Energistics 2, Industrial Foregoing, and Thermal Expansion have been updated to 1.16.4 From what i can tell, "forge/ores" still works for mods that had them in the older versions when they ported up to 1.16.4, but the new mods don't have these yet. - my guess is because the newer mods makers haven't seen need to include code that would otherwise do nothing for them --or maybe my understanding of all these things is completely on its head-- but I think this might still be useful for Unidict's purposes? idk if this would help speed up the process any or not, but it was worth noting at any rate. |
I see ok, But there is the probleme again with multiple ores or ingots for the same material, (Thermal Copper, Immersive, Copper, Mekanism Copper)... Unidict in 1.12 repair that and i think in 1.16 a new Version or Port of Unidict can be realy good because the new tags system not fix the problem of multiple ores, ingots.. Thanks you for your answer |
you guys have an Update for us? I think this is the only thing thats missing in 1.16 Thank you for your answer |
