We have a milestone for tracking work that is needed for a first version that is useful to a user. Would that work? |

Phase 3 overview
The internet is full of closed platforms—social media networks, proprietary website builders, and services designed to lock users in. These platforms make it easy to get started but notoriously difficult to leave. Phase 3 aims to change that with a browser extension that can liberate your data from any platform and load it into Playground (or directly into a full WordPress site!)
Liberation doesn't have to be the only reason to put WordPress in your browser sidebar. With WordPress always handy, you could turn it into a personal scratchboard for capturing images and jotting down quick notes.
As Phase 3 matures, the plugin authors will gain access to powerful APIs to shape the liberation process. Whether fine-tuning a specific step—like transforming a Figma component into a custom WordPress block—or orchestrating the entire workflow, such as converting a Shopify store into a fully functional e-commerce site, the control is in your hands.
Project updates
The Try WordPress extension is in its early stages. See the GitHub Milestone for the latest progress on the work required for an initial release.
