There's a comment in the dev blog (see large CSS section, can't deep link) about adding the inline CSS in such a way that makes it display well in the site-editor, but since you can't easily include newlines in JSON I'm not sure how readable it is to add |

When writing custom CSS in theme.json and custom style .json files, what coding standards should be followed?
This question is prompted by work I was doing for block styles variations that require custom CSS.
While we are able to follow most standards outlined in the WordPress CSS Coding Standards, coding structure, commenting and spacing are a bit more tricky in JSON.
