Scrolling on MacBook doesn't work in Google Chrome

Scrolling is totally broken. Need to scroll the left hand main WordPress dashboard menu to the bottom in order to scroll the content area to the bottom. Same in reverse using a macbook Air touch pad .

Issue is when the left hand menu has a large number of items (custom post types)

With a Large number of items on the left its not possible to scroll down to the bottom of the post.
(need to actually scroll the left hand side menu to reach the bottom) not good, majority of sites have a lot of main menu items

Thanks for testing and reporting issues! Closing as a duplicate of #11185 and let's continue the discussion there because I've been unsuccessful at replicating this problem so far.
