When an image block has been added to the content, but no image has been selected, there is a figure and an empty img element on the front of the website: <figure class="wp-block-image"><img decoding="async" alt=""></figure>
Ideally nothing should be printed on the front when no image has been selected.
Step-by-step reproduction instructions
In either editor, add an image block.
Save and view the front of the website where you placed the block.
View the source of the page and see that there is a figure element and an img element without a src.
