What problem does this address?

The submenu is hidden behind the horizontal scrollbar.
I'm actually using the submenu quite often, so it'd be nice if the submenu option would be always available, no matter of the horizontal scroll position - so to say fixed on the right site of the list view. Maybe a with an transparent to white background?

What is your proposed solution?

Either a variable width of the sidebar (#53096 (comment) ) or, for an first iteration it'd be great to position the submenu absolute.
