Field update upon sending email from Campaigns

I also have question about Campaigns module: Which particular chunk of code is responsible for sending emails to Accounts/Contacts/Leads form related list of Campaign module? As I it has been mentioned it hard to work in this module where is not straightforward way of indicating status of record. Ability to set some flag in module in combination with filter will help in it. Hoping for cluebat so I can fix it in this way and share here my solution
