Hi infrandomness, we absolutely are accepting PRs. I don't have much time to work on the kernel nowadays, but I'd like to get some work in whenever I can. There's a lot more that can be added.

I've been trying to work onto making the project compile again, it's become one of a hell
There are comptime errors everywhere, and they're the most non sensical errors I've ever seen (I've always thought comptime was a terrible idea)

What version of zig are you using? We only support 0.9.1 at the moment. I'll very happily merge a 0.10 PR if that's what you're attempting.
