I get the 'error while trying to render app' message in both gamemode and when using the desktop gui.
I'm using Bazzite, on an i5 8400 with 6750xt. I have done the troubleshooting steps, updated to latest version and deleted the settings.json file, but it:s still the same.

I was hoping this plugin would fix my issue with low cpu clocks in Bazzite, by enabling me to set the performance governor. But unfortunately, the plugin can't load.

Are there any fixes / workarounds for this issue?

Thanks.

Hrm, this plugin hasn't been tested on any discrete GPU systems, it was intended to work on AMD APU devices.

I can investigate adding discrete GPU support, but no guarantees.

Ah, right, I see. Hope it works out. Thanks anyway.

As an update, SDTDP actually seems to be partially functional on my 5600x + 6700XT. Not that I'd recommend it (TDP control and GPU are broken), but it does change power governor, epp, etc.

I think the issue in your case is the Intel CPU, the plugin was built for AMD only.
