Hi there I am currently trying out Android TV grabber. And I have found that when running my wled lights don't change smoothly with TV image they ten to be a bit sticky of there is a lag. When I try out my capture card the LEDs tend to run better and there is no lag. My pi is connected to my router via ethernet. My Chromecast is also connected to my router via ethernet but wled strip is wireless. Any reason why this is happening. My TV is 43inch lg

Hard to say, but could be a hardware thing, what specific device are you running on? Try the latest beta if you have not, though that is mostly some API updates.

What you can also try is lowering the vertical & horizontal LED count in the app settings. That is used to dictate the resolution at which the content is grabbed & processed, so setting it lower will make the grabber do less work.

Unfortunately due to the wide spectrum of hardware available for android TV, nailing down any one performance issue can be pretty difficult.
