Issue with wallet connection

I have connected my superhero wallet ETH address to the bridge aepp, then I wanted to disconnect and try connecting with metamask, but once i disconnect and hit connect again, it does not prompt to select the wallet but automatically connects to the Superhero ETH address.

I have cleaned local and session storage (even though there was nothing to be cleaned, cookies , done a hard reload and I am only able to connect the Superhero wallet. It is so difficult to switch wallets.

If I force the connection popup by changing the network metamask does not react at all.

Attaching a new screen recording of the wallet connection behaviour, now when selecting ETH the connect wallet is just disabled... the aeternity connection shows "Install Superhero Wallet" when it is installed , unlocked and with an ae wallet selected.

Aeternity metamask snap connection does not react amongst other weird behaviours seen on the video. I have disabled every wallet extension so only superhero and metamask are present, and revoked permissions to connect and add them again, deleted local and session storage and a hard reload and cache deleting, tried in incognito mode, on Firefox instead of chrome... don't know what more to try to being able of connecting an ETH wallet.

Available to join a short call to share screen and console if needed, i am trying to do a reverse bridge from ETH to AE but so far it has been impossible to connect an ETH wallet.
