Could I please know how you can prevent this, I have asked the official pterodactyl discord and they said they would fix it but they have been saying it for over a year, and its long term issue.

Could you maybe add something that would allow us host owners to prevent it or not allow pterovms?

I mean its in a docker container so it is isolated

This doesn't change anything; it still allows users to run proprietary software in our containers, despite them being dedicated for something else.

Sorry to say, pterovm wont be getting anymore updates because the project "pterovm" is discontinued and is currently in the process of rewriting as Harbor. And yes harbor have an anti script "but" it is only given to trustable host owners (cough cough sketchy free host owners) so yeah once harbor is done for the launch. You can fill a form to apply that you are a legitimate hosting, have a good day

What? So you’re saying that the rewrite can only be disabled on hosts who apply with your form? Why can’t anyone disable it, and why are you seemingly taking advantage of “sketchy free host owners”? Maybe make it so anyone can disable it on their server.

The problem I’m coming at here is, as a host, we do not want our users using proprietary software on our hardware which breaks out terms and conditions (bitcoin mining, etc.) so there should be a way that any host can disable this software from running on their servers.

This is an "open source, free to use" project, read the license. I only issue the anti script to the people who "really" wants it. Its upto them, also it is easy to patch if you know how to patch properly:)

Also pterovm is built to use "good" stuff not sketchy bs. As an MIT licensed project, i have no power over that. If you really want to patch it, wait for the form which proves that you are legitimate or just make a patch yourself

Where is the form?
I run a free host with paid plans, and I don't want people to fill my node's disk space.|

You know there are scripts to prevent Bitcoin mining and other harmful stuff for servers. Well you can't stop users from using other programs without the anti script

They can fill the space without petro vm too. This isn't valid reason
