Due to the effective retirement on the development of Kaniko (See GoogleContainerTools/kaniko/issues/3348), we may need to migrate to another OCI build platform for remote use.

Tasks:

  • Determine whether Buildah or Buildkit is better for the substitute
  • Refactor the docs that mentions kaniko to use the alternative instead
