Hello, I can see that a PR was merged to upgrade AWS-SDK from v2 to v3 around 2 years ago, but it was never released as a new version, but the old version is still getting 200k downloads/week.

If it's a non-breaking change for your package, could you make a release on npm to 1.1.7 so users get the latest aws-sdk version?

I have released a new version. The entire library has now been migrated to TypeScript and it uses @aws-sdk/client-cognito-identity-provider. Thanks for raising this issue.
