HDR UHD bluray denoise #279
Comments
https://github.com/akai-katto/dandere2x/releases/tag/3.7 Does 3.7.3 help with this? Try upscaling a few seconds, if you can |
In the meantime I tried dendere2x rework but the output color has the same problem... |
There is a bug indeed. Trying to fix it on 3.7.3 |
I fixed 3.7.3 binary. Edit: I pushed 0.0.2.3 to allow for the pix_fmt as well. |
Does the beta version of dandere2x crash for you? (The latest latest). I've never seen that crash message before on legacy dandere2x. Not all hope is lost, I forgot to implement pix_fmt setting for multiprocess. Will need to do that after work. |
Maybe the original file from UHD bluray was too heavy/complex, I removed all audio tracks (8 of them) and now I don`t get any error. |
can you send me the video over reddit? (avoiding github for copyright reasons). |
UHD blurays have bad compression artifacts (for me it`s better upscaling a 1080 video), so I tried processing it with dandere2x with 1x upscaling and denoise 3x, but output result have poor brightness and washed out colors: is there any configuration that will save some color and brightness?
(on the left it`s the original UHD bluray video)
