Describe the bug

My AQM devices are no longer showing. I've updated to the latest version (4.13.8). Tried deleting and re-adding the integration.

I have "include devices connected to echo" selected.

I've found a few older issues that seem to describe a similar problem which was then fixed, so wondering if this has regressed?

I don't see any errors int he logs.

Other functionality works.

To Reproduce

Other than installing the latest version, i'm not sure what to suggest to recreate it.

Expected behavior

AQM sensors to work

I’m also getting this problem AQM devices just not updating. Tried rolling back to previous version but did not fix the problem.

Could be something changed at amazons end as I did the last update a few days ago when it came out and my sensor was updating until last night around midnight

So after rebooting my sensor it's back working. Think it could have been a update on the AQM it's self and nothing to do with the integration in HA

My aqm devices aren't showing up either. Rebooothe devices didn't help.

My AQM device is not showing. Tried downgrading to 4.13.7 but still the same. Nothing evident in logs.

It's working for me. I forgot that this integration only creates entities for AQM, there are no devices. Only entities

Thanks for this. I didn’t realise that there was no device. I can see the entities and they appear to be updating as expected.

No Entities showing up for me either all other devices/entities showing up fine - AQM shows up fine in Alexa App

I set up an AQM up and saw it working, but after about 12 hours it stopped updating. I actually added a second AQM to see what would happen. It all seems to be working in the Amazon Alexa app, but not in HA. I see the entities are created for both devices, but they are not updating.

I see the error (when clicking on the entity):

This entity is no longer being provided by the alexa_media integration. If the entity is no longer in use, delete it in settings.

I'm using v5.4.0 of the integration and v2025.1.4 of Home Assistant

You'll need to analyze your debug logs. My AQM sensor is working fine in AMP.

Please excuse the confusion, it was indeed just a configuration error on my end. And it is working again.

Specifically, I was trying to use "Only Include These Devices" in the configuration. Since the AQMs don't show up as devices, only entities, I think that was filtering it out. To fix it for my use case, I just added all the devices I didn't want to include in the "Exclude these devices" setting.

Note that I had some issues clearing out the "Only include these devices" field. I ended up having to re set up the integration. I maybe could have updated .storage/core.config_entries, which is where that seems to be saved, but that didn't seem to be working either. Maybe I needed to change that file and then restart.
