Would be nice to have a rapid pipeline to creating reactive hover, scrubbed pipelines. This is a 3-part problem: 1. find a package/library/approach for creating such content; 2. create appropriately formatted content, 3. find a fast and easy way to host said content.

This issue covers problem 2.

Feature Description

First, find a usable, modern library/package/approach for hover scrubbing. Then ensure creating the appropriate input (whether it's a video, multi-frame GIF or montage) is easy with this tool. Could be a special option or just a well documented code example.

Alternative Solutions

Don't support this feature or investigate embedding small movies (with play/pause/stop UI elements instead of scrubbing).
