Background color for selected text is not super visible

Hi there! First of all, thanks for the awesome color theme!
I've been using it for a while, and it's very good - except sometimes I seem to have trouble distinguishing what's the selected text because there isn't a whole lot of contrast.
If the selected color background contrast could be increased a bit, that would be awesome. (It's also possible that it's just me that has trouble with this though).
