Don't do this during the install script (sensu.install), do it during the package() function in the PKGBUILD. Removing the sensu-bin package causes it to leave files around the system, since they are not cleaned up correctly.

Thank you for the information!
I've corrected this (as well as updated to Sensu 0.26), but am not sure if there's a way to clean up the current installs to allow smooth upgrades.
So on my personal box, I had to install the new package using pacman --force.
