Describe the problem

I started a new project, selected the board and board options then saved the project. The IDE went blank, then re-drew its self and the board selection had reverted to the one from when the IDE first launched.

To reproduce

Open IDE. Start a new project. Select a different blard. Save the project.

Expected behavior

The IDE should remember your choices when saving a project.

Arduino IDE version

2.0.0

Operating system

Windows

Operating system version

10

Hi @CreativeRobotics. Thanks for taking the time to submit an issue.

I see we have another report about this at #657.

It is best to have only a single issue per subject so we can consolidate all relevant discussion to one place, so I'll go ahead and close this in favor of the other.

If you end up with additional information to share, feel free to comment in the other thread.
