Egzumer flash tool no longer working on edge and chrome om macOS #272
Comments
Trust me, it works like a charm. |
Yes
It worked for me fine until I upgraded my Macs to the latest Mac os version…Can you confirm it works fine on your side with latest Mac OS ?In the mean time my chirp is still happily connecting to the radios… that makes me assume it is not driver related… but, no expert here.Any suggestions welcome…
Best RegardsStan

Ok, interesting. Thank you for this report. Well, I haven't installed Macos Sequoia because I'm currently developing projects with Macos Sonoma for my work. Macos Sonoma is my target stack operating system. By the way "if it works, don't fix it" :) But if I do install Macos Sequoia, which I don't plan for the moment, I'll let you know. No problem. Finally, please note that I'm not developing Egzumer's flash tool. You could try to post an issue here. Armel F4HWN. |
done, thx! |
Hi, I've just tried Egzumer flash tool on a Macbook Pro running Sequoia, with Chrome: it works. Armel F4HWN. |
Ok, thanks for that feedback.... bizarre ... I have the problem on 3 different macs that each were working perfectly with the flash tool before upgrading... |
Hi. That happened to me also. I was using the flashing tool without problems and suddenly it just stopped working; however chirp did work fine. I changed the cable and it is working again. I am not sure why the cable worked with chirp but not with the flashing tool. Maybe try either a different cable. |
I had this problem too. Chirp is working without problems on MacOS |

Chrome is: Version 129.0.6668.60 (Official Build) (arm64) |
Chrome Version 129.0.6668.91 (Official Build) (arm64) and Version 129.0.6668.101 (Official Build) (arm64) tested no alternative cables available unfortunately... |
Ok guys. So I tested on several machines (Macbook Pro Intel and Macbook Air M1) under Macos Sequoia 15.0.1. It works. Sequoia.mov73' Armel F4HWN. |
I agree. Changing the cable fixed the problem for me. What it is weird is that chirp continues working with the old cable. |
Closed. This is not a problem about to the flash tool. |
