Does poretools work with new large MinKNOW fast5 files?

I used poretools a year ago and had no issues using fast5 files produced in MinKNOW or with Albacore. Last week I used the most recent version of MinKNOW and it produced very large fast5 files (0.3 to > 1Gb). I found that poretools did not recognize any sequences in the relevant folders. Can poretools work with these larger fast5 files? Thanks.
