Download not completing

I've downloaded a torrent file of 11 GB. The download bar is full i.e. it seems that it's complete, but its still using the internet and i'm not able to download the file completely. can you help me why?

The green bar can be a bit misleading, because it show the pieces which are either fully or partially downloaded. Otherwise it could be somewhat crowded. Try waiting to see if actually completes.

It completed eventually after taking a long time. The whole torrent was downloaded in full speed and after the green bar was filled the speed decreased to very low, after 4-5 hrs it completed. Why is that so?

It can depend on torrent health and availability, and other factors like internet connection, etc.
