I notice that your scripts pull down the chapters, but don't attempt to actually create the eBook automatically; presumably that's a manual process?

You might find some use in https://github.com/ThrawnCA/hpnofp-ebook/blob/github-7-epubcheck-warnings/build.sh, which doesn't automatically download anything, but does convert downloaded files into an EPUB. It can also optionally integrate with Calibre (for producing PDF and MOBI versions), MuPDF (if you don't have Calibre), or epubcheck (for validating EPUB output).
