Checks
q doctor
in the affected command line session and it didn't resolve my issueq restart
and it didn't resolve my issueExpected behaviour
I wanted to use amazon q autocomplete in ssh session.
I'm using Iterm2 and I followed all the steps in document and application.
Actual behaviour
Summarize the Solution
add qterm command in remote server's authorized_keys file (if you use key access)
Situation
But I failed to see autocomplete's graphic things (the result of recommendation for we type)
So I execute q doctor command in remote server and got below result
Amazon Q terminal integrations: qterm is not running in this terminal, please try restarting your terminal \n Q_TERM
But in vscode terminal (I activated integration option for vscode too), there was no problem in q doctor and also autocompletion worked well!.
So I tried type
qterm
command in remote server with iterm. And it works! But It didn't work well in .bashrc (I wanted that
qterm
command works automatically when I accessed with SSH).I think qterm requires some request from host (I saw
stdin and stdout must both be tty handles
error and my terminal's input was not worked well). So I just put
qterm
command likes below example inauthorized_keys
finally I succeed to use amazon q auto completion in ssh with item2
Steps to reproduce
User who get below situations
Amazon Q terminal integrations: qterm is not running in this terminal, please try restarting your terminal \n Q_TERM
q doctor
and triedq reinstall
several times alreadyEnvironment
