Feat: Update check for remote ssh installs

Feature Details

Description:

The current install process for Linux is a one-shot download of a ZIP. We need a process to check for updates. Either put the package in all the various package managers, or have a configurable update check process baked in.

(Of course, Linux is insufficient for me, I also need FreeBSD support.)
