Hi, I am using the latest released version of SteaScree.
I exited Steam and followed below steps:
image

  1. Added screenshot to queue
  2. Filename appears in queue
  3. Clicked "Copy screenshots to game directory"
But the option "Prepare screenshots for uploading.." is not available. If I login to steam and check screenshots, my image appears in the game list of the "Screenshot" window, but upon uploading it gives the error:

Let me know if any steps are missed by me.

Change the filename to blank as it was not available.
Issue resolved. Upload successful.

Still not sure when "Prepare screenshots for uploading.." should be available.

Author/Contributors can investigate whether the application also needs to create the #_vr.jpg, or blank out the entry in screenshots.vdf.

Hi.

Prepare screenshots for uploading... should be available once the screenshots are copied to the respective directories and Steam metadata (VDF file) is updated. Something went wrong with either of these processes and that's why the button didn't unlock.

You updated metadata manually using the vrfilename trick, which sometimes, well... does the trick.

I need to add more status messages to indicate if some essential processes failed.
