I'm playing a game (GOG version of Inscryption) that's designed for KB+M input but has a section where you control a character from a top-down view using the arrow keys. There's this odd behavior when in Desktop mode where, if I press the d-pad, the character moves normally at first but then does these halting little stutter steps as if the arrow key is being hammered rapidly rather than held down. The game doesn't accept gamepad input so switching to x360 doesn't solve the issue, and since it's not a Steam game, I don't think switching to Steaminput would help either. Any ideas?
