The Ctrl + ] shortcut does not work on a german keyboard, because the ] is only available via shortcut alt + 5. So exiting fluidterm is not possible.
A solution would be to use a shortcut like Ctrl + q that works on all keyboard layouts.

Sadly, any control character that you pick will cause problems in some situation. For example, CTRL-Q is XOFF when software flow control is in effect. Also, if you run FluidTerm inside a VSCode terminal, VSCode intercepts CTRL-Q as a shortcut for some other purpose. That can be disabled but it is troublesome. I am changing FluidTerm to accept both CTRL-] and CTRL-Q interchangeably. This is the sort of problem that never ends.
