I'm having issues with my node, I saw lots of similar issues but none of them helped.
My issue is, after my node catches up the latest block, it stops syncing, peers dropping and node is going too slow. It is falling behind 50-100 blocks, and after some time completely frozen.
What I have observed is that if I block the rpc on the server, it syncs fast 50 or more blocks at a time. If i have something making calls to the rpc, then it syncs fast for the first few minutes after starting up then slows down to 2-3 blocks at a time. This is while it is behind in syncing. Curious to see if any of the rest of you would see similar results if you blocked the rpc.
