Two questions!

As a young 23 years old server admin, I just newly immigrated to Ubuntu Mate and found terminology just a few days ago!
It's exactly the best and also most intuitive terminal emulator you can imagine; especially that you can -even!- run it on tty, directly!
My main issues are:

1. It lacks of having a comprehensive complete WIKI/Documentation, particularly on its settings! Like I still don't know what is "Shine" option on its background settings!
2. It's strange why nowhere properly written about this magnificent work on papers and internet - like itsfoss!?
3. Since I'm living in Iran, it's hard to be sponsor to the developers of this project! Where can I scream the name of this program!? :))

Thanks for the kind words and sorry for the very late answer!
The documentation is mostly done through the man pages.
About what the shine does, it's only when using the default theme: it's some kind of highlight of the currently focused terminal.
