Describe the issue you encountered: Update notification message is not localized.

Expected behavior:

  • Platform (Win7, 8, 10? macOS? Linux distro?): Windows 10
  • Brave Version: 0.12.2 RC4

It is not reproduced after doing the update test. Race condition?

did it appear very close to startup or something?

I removed regression label until you can confirm if it happens on each run or not. For me I just tried it with French and it was translated.
